This Week in Dopex: 6/9–13/9
As you all know the Dopex Public Testnet and trading competition is live. So 99% of our attention has been directed towards making the Dopex experience as smooth as possible and fixing any issues that are brought up.
📌 Dopex Testnet Update
We are proud to announce we’ve officially launched DPX Single Staking Option Vaults on the Dopex Testnet (Kovan Network).
What are SSOVs?
Similar to single staking vaults, SSOVs allow users to lock up tokens for a specified period of time and earn yield on their staked assets. Users will be able to deposit assets into a contract which then sells your deposits as call options to buyers at fixed strikes that they select for end-of-month expiries. SSOV options are either at the money, out of the money, or far out of the money.

📌 Trading Competition 2.0
🏆 Results for the first trading competition have been announced in Discord!
We’re aware of the testnet instability issues many of our users were facing and wanted to make up for it so…We’ve introduced a testnet trading competition 2.0!
🚧 What will be different in 2.0?
✅ It will be open to everyone.
✅ We’ll have the leaderboard for the competition up and running before the start of the competition.
✅ We’ll have a swap interface for users to swap assets so that they can re-buy options.
✅ Users will be only given USDT from the faucet, as now they can swap.
✅ Volume pool will be fitted with sufficient warnings so that users know when the funds will be available for use.
✅ Auto-exercise will be available from the beginning of the trading competition.
